We Are Monsters - G-Not Recordings

Titled We Are Monsters, the latest release from G-Not Recordings is online since last July 12th.

We are late with this review, but we did not want to overlook it.

Just a month after the success of the album Powerhouse by the talented producer ESM, G-Not is back to launch another outstanding work.

We Are Monsters includes two tracks by Hungarian artist Dave Blunt, and two by Kesz, the SchranzMania Records´ founder, the first Czech hardtechno label.

It is not the first time that Dave Blunt publishes a record work in the Greg Notil´s label.

In March the young DJ / producer contributed with the track Foward in the EP Madness from Various Artists released by the label.

On the other hand, Kesz makes his debut in G-Not Recordings with a couple of tracks with which you can feels the forcefulness of his beats.

We Are Monsters EP

Precise effects, mix of current and classic rhythms and styles converge in this fresh sound work consisting of 4 interesting tracks.

It is especially relevant to mention the Dave Blunt´s taste for changes from low to high tones, the artist says everything with his equalizations.

Meanwhile, Kesz shows a more aggressive style, with a particular groove, based on nostalgic melodies.

First of all, an effect marks the coldly calculated entry of Monsters, the track that gives name to the EP.

A touch of rhythms of other genres give this track more taste.

It seems like your dance is guarded by the vocal from beginning to end.

Percussions are mixed with sharp synths sonorities, creating a current sound with an analogical air in Really Angry.

“I´m working from a lot of own samples mixed with the common sample packs”. Dave Blunt emphasized.

In Leave That Playbox, Kesz plays with a meticulous mix of rhythms that gives an idea of his creativity.

Retro beats with a bunch of Old School synths that nuance the frequency, can be perceived in this track.

With Dorys Loves You Kesz makes you remember eternal moments and you can feel yourself in the middle of an outdoors Rave in your past.

“The main melody is rolling over you and again in almost 6 minutes length of this tune, what I find essential for sunny summer feel of any tune”. Kesz told us.

In conclusion, We Are Monsters is an album to get the most out of this summer´s heat.
